Flashfeed is not just an app; it's a movement to transform how news is consumed globally. In a world buzzing with information, we make news accessible, engaging, and personalized. We're inviting ambitious engineering students to embark on a 2-month internship program with us, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital news.

 

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with our team to develop and improve machine learning models for news summarization and article recommendations.

• Research and experiment with cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, including text summarization, topic modeling, and sentiment analysis.

• Explore recommendation system approaches (content-based, collaborative filtering) to personalize news feeds for our users.

• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to prepare it for our machine learning models.

• Contribute to the optimization and deployment of our models.

 

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Demonstrable understanding of deep learning concepts and NLP techniques.

• Familiarity with recommendation system concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Passion for AI/ML and its potential to transform the news industry.

• Proactive and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic startup environment.

Bonus Points

• Experience with NLP tasks like text summarization, topic modeling, or sentiment analysis.

• Previous work on recommendation system development.

• Contributions to open-source machine learning projects or participation in competitions.
